EVA, PUR & zero-glue-line edging

Edge banding or clashing is a thin material used to seal the exposed and raw edges of plywood, MDF or particle board to match a cabinet’s finished look and protect against dirt and moisture. Tape comes in a variety of materials, with PVC and veneer being the most common.

Cabinetry made from melamine and high pressure laminates usually use PVC edge tape that match the colour of the panels. Veneer edge tape is actual slices of wood that have been pre-sanded and layered together, usually used to make a board seem like a solid piece of wood. Tape can be from 0.5mm to 3mm thick depending how much protection is required.

PUR glue

PUR glue uses thin film technology to create a smooth finish while offering good bond strength and high heat, chemical, and moisture resistance.  It’s the perfect way to give your clients the quality finish they deserve and give you peace of mind knowing that your products don’t just look good but are practical too.

EVA glue
