Physio Van FitOut
A commercial van fitout for a physiotherapist in Auckland.
Dylan Keane, Director of Design Space, approached Cutshop® Mount Wellington to help with the cabinetry as part of a van fitout for Rehab Co, a physiotherapist business.
Dylan, who specialises in interior design, manufacturing and installation, with projects ranging from kitchens, laundries, vanities, wardrobes, van fit-outs, and commercial spaces, was given the brief to create an interior space that allowed easy use for the physiotherapists as well as providing enough storage to stock sale items and the equipment needed for treating clients.
Starting with a completely empty shell, Dylan designed a contemporary look specifically choosing oak décor plywood for the feature open box to contrast against the white Eurolite plywood for the cabinets.
The combination of which created an aesthetically pleasing environment that is a calm, stylish, and resourceful space whilst also making the interior of the van light and bright to work in.

Using Cutshop® for the manufacturing of the cabinets, Dylan was able to have everything cut, drilled and ready to assemble without having to measure or drill for hinges, hinge mounts and screw holes.
Dylan was particularly pleased with the functionality of the cupboard and the open shelf which brings a nice dynamic for the physiotherapists, allowing them to treat their clients without fumbling around for equipment.
As for the Rehab & Co, they are so happy with the results they intend to get two more vans on the road by the end of the year!
Definitely a sign of a job well done.
