Simon Morton
Owner and co-founder
Simon co-founded Cutshop® in 2009 as a result of one of frustrations with trying to get a combination of kitchen, vanity and wardrobes cut for his newly developed property.
He spotted an opportunity and established the business to be a preferred supplier of ready to assemble cabinetry to the trade, and a manufacturing partner to people who have designed a product and want to bring their idea to life.
Brent Ellis
Production
Brent is our factory manager who has been with Cutshop® almost since the beginning. He saw the challenge of building a new business from a great idea and helped make our manufacturing process productive and efficient.
Brent manages the production team who work the CNC, edgebander and supporting machinery including routers and saws. He says that having two top quality programmers certainly makes the job a lot easier.
Karl Ross
Programming
Karl manages programming for kitchen manufacturing, Cutshop®’s largest product sector.
“We don’t design at Cutshop® but we have a lot of cabinet making and joinery experience so we can help improve concepts if needed.”
Shane Chapman
Programming
Programming outside the kitchen space is Shane’s job. Cutshop® programmes anything from a decorative wall panel to a new surfboard.

Laser cutting comes to Cutshop®
Cutshop® Mt Wellington added precision, CNC laser cutting to our offering. This means more options for finer, detailed cutting and creative solutions for professionals and DIYers alike.
